Let's Help Doug!

As many of you know, Doug Sheehy recently suffered from a traumatic eye injury leaving him with minimal eye sight despite two extensive surgeries.   Doug was given a dismal prognosis at the beginning, but with the care of incredible doctors and the invitation to join in a clinical trial, Doug is feeling hopeful that he will regain most of his sight.  

Doug will participant in a  clinical trial at Cincinnati Eye Center this summer that involves implanting a synthetic hand painted iris that will look like his normal right eye and will also help to alleviate the light sensitivity and, with the help of a synthetic lens, will focus the light and dramatically improve his vision. 

The downside to this surgery is that because it is a clinical trial, his insurance will not cover any of the cost.  As you can imagine this surgery will be very expensive and I would love to rally up all his friends to donate whatever we can to help eliminate some of the burden off Doug.  

Tiss the season to give, so perhaps you have a few extra dollars to help a friend.  I know that Doug would be forever thankful.
