Don’t Cancel Santa -Light up the Christmas Village

So many things have been cancelled this year with Covid but we want to pull off holding the winter village as a safe event for everyone to enjoy all winter. We need to make this happen one way or another to add some much needed cheer in those dark winter nights. 

We are the Winter Village Committee. The Winter Village in Sylvan Lake, Alberta, is made up of like minded individuals who want to light up the winter nights for our community. This is such a phenomenal light up of the pier and the lake  We are not funded by the town and have always raised funds through donations from businesses and community members who see how magical the lights are November through March In our  little town. It takes us $34,500 to put this on every year but without being able to fundraise the way we have in the past we have a huge short fall. Please help us raise the money to still have this event this winter that is pulled off by so many wonderful volunteers and a handful of committee members. 

Every dollar raised helps us bring some much needed cheer! The money raised will be spent on lights that need to be replaced, labour to get all the lights up and signage. The Funds will go directly to the Winter Village Committee. All funds managed by the Chamber of Commerce.
