Donations for Phil's Bike

I've been volunteering down at the food truck in downtown Hamilton for a few months now. Honestly, such amazing people I get to serve with and it's been a huge blessing for me. One man I've met is named Phil, and we work together serving desserts- cakes, cupcakes etc. He is one of the friendliest guys I've met and has the biggest heart. He's always going out of his way to help others and sharing love everywhere he goes.

A couple nights ago, someone broke into his garage and stole his electric bike. Although it may seem like something so small, it was really devastating to him especially since he doesn't have much- almost nothing at all. Being the awesome guy he is, he actually felt selfish that he was so upset about losing a possession, especially when a guy he talked to the other night doesn't even have a home. The bike was his transportation and he would carry the wooden tables he made on his bike every Wednesday to the food truck.

So to share my heart on this.. I really felt the need to share this with you guys. My heart, and God's heart, is to bless him. To bless him even more than he can imagine. My hope is to raise enough money to get him a brand new scooter. I'm hoping if this finds favour in your heart, that you could donate $10, $20, $50 or whatever you feel is best. You may not know this man, but honestly if you did, I think your heart would ache just as much as mine does.

I'm hoping within a couple weeks- to a month we will have enough money to purchase the bike :)
