Greetings,

We welcome you to this new year; 2014, we pray that The Lord move in your life in a radical way. So many things have happened with my family (Sonny, Kim, Trinity and Rocco) over the past year and I would like to share some of the excitement with you and our plans for 2014 and beyond.

Many of you know that we had been a part of Discovery Church, in Cibolo Texas for the past 7 years as well as youth pastors for the last 5. It was one year ago this month that The Lord revealed to us that we were to soon start a new chapter in our lives and we would be "up-rooted" from our church, position and career. An extremely fearful place for us at that time to hear The Lord say that in the matter of a year, we would step down from youth leadership, leave our church home, leave our financial security and be used in a separate ministry. Kim and I immediately began praying, asked others for prayer and sought the wisdom of our spiritual leaders. Psalm 145:13 (NIV) ~ The LORD is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made. In the course of 2013, The Lord proved himself time and again in His direction and our fear turned to excitement.

My family and I will be serving as full time urban missionaries under the Rev Ministries as of January 2014. The Rev is an outreach ministry based directly on Christ's teachings in accordance with Matthew 25:35-40 and Matthew 28:19-20. Our hearts are completely in love with Jesus and there are so many areas in which He will use us. Our vision is to provide an opportunity to meet the physical and spiritual needs of local communities that are desperately in need. The vision is simple, but it's not always easy. We will be serving in an area where the needs are never ending. To meet those needs we are calling on those who would share this vision with us.
