After the US faced a loss in the United Nations General Assembly over the UN Jerusalem vote, the US administration reduced its funding for the UN, which could significantly impact the daily lives of millions of vulnerable Palestine refugees across Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Gaza, and the West Bank including East Jerusalem.

بعد أن واجهت الولايات المتحدة رفضا أمميا بالجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة حول التصويت بشأن القدس، قامت الإدارة الأمريكية بتخفيض ميزانية الدعم المقدم للأمم المتحدة، الأمر الذي قد يؤثر بشكل كبير على الحياة اليومية لملايين اللاجئين من الفلسطينيين الضعفاء في كافة أنحاء الأردن، وسوريا، ولبنان، وغزة والضفة الغربية بما فيها القدس الشرقية.

On January 1, 2018 the US government announced its contribution of $60 million only in comparison to the $350 million it contributed in the 2017 budget.

وقد أعلنت الحكومة الأمريكية في 1 يناير 2018 مساهمتها ب 60 مليون دولار أمريكي فقط بالمقارنة ب 350 مليون دولار أمريكي كانت قد ساهمت بها لدعم ميزانية عام 2017.

This cut would trigger new refugee crises in addition to the Syrian refugees and other wars around the region. 

وسيؤدي خفض الميزانية إلى تعرض اللاجئين لأزمات جديدة بالإضافة إلى أزمة اللاجئين السوريين والحروب الأخرى الدائرة في كافة أنحاء المنطقة.

For the past 70 years, UNRWA has been a United Nations agency established by the General Assembly in 1949 and mandated to provide assistance and protection to some 5 million registered Palestine refugees. Its mission is to help Palestine refugees in Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, West Bank and the Gaza Strip achieve their full human development potential, pending a just and lasting solution to their plight. UNRWA services encompass education, health care, relief and social services, camp infrastructure and improvement, protection and micro-finance.

على مدى السنوات السبعين الماضية، قامت الأونورا ما يعرف بوكالة الغوث الدولية. وهي وكالة تابعة للأمم المتحدة أنشأتها الجمعية العامة عام 1949 وكُلفت بتوفير المساعدة والحماية لحوالي 5 ملايين لاجيء فلسطيني مُسجّل. وتتمثل مهمتها في مساعدة اللاجئين الفلسطينيين في الأردن ولبنان وسوريا والضفة الغربية وقطاع غزة لتحقيق التنمية الكاملة لطاقاتهم البشرية أثناء انتظارهم لحل عادل ودائم لقضيتهم. تشمل خدمات وكالة الغوث التعليم والرعاية الصحية والإغاثة والخدمات الاجتماعية والبنية التحتية للمخيمات والتطوير والحماية وتمويل المشاريع متناهية الصغر.

اسمي فادي يونس ... منتج إعلامي ومدون مرئي على اليوتيوب ... قررت استخدام قناتي للتوعية فيما يتعلق بقضية اللاجئين الفلسطينيين لمساعدة ودعم أبناء وطني... الشعب الفلسطيني؛ لكي نتمكن من منع حدوث أزمة لاجئين جديدة! من خلال قيامنا بذلك؛ سنقف ضد الطغاة والساسة ممن يحاولون جعل أمة وشعب لاحول له ولا قوة يخضع ويقبل شروطهم للتنازل عن أوطانهم، أرضهم وهويتهم مقابل ابسط الحقوق في التعليم والرعاية الصحية.

It is my intention to raise up to $100,000 through in the next 2 months campaigning and reaching out to companies, celebrities, social media influencers, fellow citizens and fellow humans around the world. Where there’s a will, there’s a way! The journey of 1000 miles begins with the first step! And my first step is to raise my targeted fund on this GoFundMe page where all the money will be directly transferred to the UNRWA accounts.
