Join Mr Motivator for an online exercise class to raise money for cancer work
We have arranged an online fundraiser with an exercise session featuring Mr Motivator on Sunday, 17th January 2021 at 1100AM via Zoom ( https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82790036510?pwd=dmcyb3lLOCt5ZTdXb3cwVk1TdDIxQT09 ) and an introduction to our service aiming to get patients to their optimal health before cancer treatment, helping them cope with their treatment and recover faster. - save the date.
The recent COVID-19 pandemic has decreased the number of Face-2-Face interventions in the health care sector. There are particular restrictions on the gyms and assessment facilities in the Healthy Living and Community Leisure centres.
At Kent and Medway Prehab , we rapidly adapted to the restrictions and continued to provide a Prehabilitation Service virtually using technology. Digitalisation helped us scale up and provide the service to many more patients and remove the postcode lottery and geographical barriers.
Patients have found the experience very positive and have benefited, as a virtual, community-based service offers flexibility, value and personalisation.
However, many patients do not have access to digital equipment needed to benefit from digital prehabilitation and surgery optimisation programmes we offer.
Join Mr Motivator for an online exercise session fund raiser. The money raised will be used to purchase equipment such as pedometers and affordable tablets for patients who are at risk of digital exclusion.
Together, through the generosity of our time and spirit, we can help those most in need.
