I am posting this on behalf of my big sister Diane, the strongest woman I know. Kind and positive thoughts are important - if a donation isn't in the cards right now, please picture my her happy and healed!

"My name is Diane and I have recently been diagnosed with cancer. In 2012 I was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent a mastectomy. I had been given a clean bill of health up until 2014 when I found a lump on my chest, which was removed and found to be cancerous.
In December 2014 I made the choice to go with chemotherapy and had a port put in for treatments, I found out prior to my chemotherapy start date that tests showed it had spread to my bones and chemotherapy was no longer an option.
I went in for a PET scan and it showed spots in my lun
My oncologist has started me on hormone therapy to reduce the tumors and spread, however medications that can help eliminate this disease are not yet available in Canada.
I am hoping to go to Mexico (Hope4Cancer.com). I am looking to raise enough for what is needed in my healing journey and every little bit helps! This will cover treatments, take home therapies, medicines and travel to and from the clinic for one three week intensive treatment session. They want me to go back quarterly but right now the big cost and what is most important is the initial visit.
I am a mother of two awesome, amazing young adults. Last year I experienced the joy of watching my daughter marry the man of her dreams. I am hoping to be here to watch my son get married and to feel the warmth of my grand-babies in my arms.
