Diana's Hip-py Fund

Friends, family and coworkers:  Our dear friend Diana had an accident on 12/9 in which she slipped on ice in her driveway and despite doing all she could to avoid it (spikes on her boots, doing a sideways walk, etc, etc) she fell and broke her femur and her hip, had a concussion and had to have immediate surgery to repair the damage (rod and pins). Between the ambulance, transport to the hospital and then between two hospitals, blood transfusions, hospital stay and surgery (and many, many more items) this will be a very big financial expense.  The reason we are trying to raise funds for Diana is because being a fairly new on-call/part time employee, she currently does not have health benefits yet.   

She is the most INCREDIBLE person. She's ALWAYS putting others needs first and lending a helping hand. She's the first person to bring someone a meal, visit them in the hospital, care for their pets or home, or just be there to listen and offer kindness and understanding.  We set this up because in the spirit of Hip-piness, we know it's time for the good Karma that Diana puts out in the world to come back to her ten fold.
