Please Help Save Desiree Di Grazia
Donation protected
Desiree was born in Italy with a rare syndrome called Ellis-Van Creveld. It is a rare genetic disorder characterized by short limbs, dwarfism and a congenital heart difect.
At the age of two she received her first heart operation and by the age of 14 she already had 16 operations to her limbs. But nothing would prepare her or her family for what happened next.
While visiting California in 2014 at age 15 she suffered and survived the first of two heart attacks followed by two heart operations and the installment of a pace maker. Now in 2017 her physical condition has further deteriorated and she is in vital need of a heart and liver transplant, the operations needs to be done soon and simultaneously.
Desiree and her family just recently moved to the Rochester area and are in great need of the help of our community and beyond. They have been overwhelmed by the medical bills but most important they need to raise funds so Desiree can have the care that any of us would want for our children, so please donate whatever amount you can. No amount is too small. Let’s show them what a helping hand is all about. Desiree deserves a chance at a normal life.
The DiGrazia family has been struggling with medical bills. We pray that the DiGrazia family can live a normal that some of us take for grated.
