Send the Deegs to Japan!

It is our desire to see the Land of the Rising Sun come to know the gospel of the Risen Son.  This has been true for quite some time, but a few years ago we actually applied to work as missionaries with Mission to the World, a PCA mission organization. 

We would be working with a school in Chiba, Japan, teaching various subjects and pouring into the lives of both missionary kids and the surrounding Japanese children.

The need is great!  Japan is one of the least reached people groups in the world, with less than 1% Protestant!  Furthermore, the birth rate is very low and the suicide rate is very high, leading many to wonder if Japan's population is in an unsustainable tailspin.  

We were very recently invited on short notice on a vision trip to meet the team and work in the school for two weeks, to see if we'd make a good fit for them.  We would need to raise the funds to get over there and live there for two weeks, so that's what brings us here!
