Please help with the costly medical bills for Deanna's Cancer treatments.

From Deanna's son Perry-
her recent CT scan showed that some of her liver nodules have shrunken a little and her pancreatic mass size has remained the same and not gotten any larger or invaded any... other organs. The bad news she has not tolerated the chemotherapy regimen/clinical trial well at all (extremely low blood pressure and severe drops in her blood and white blood cell counts). Because of this, her oncologist and his nationwide colleagues will be converting her to an oral tablet therapy that she will have to take daily. There are two major obstacles though: (1) the cost, which is yet to be determined and (2) the horrible side effects. If the medication is affordable and she can tolerate the side effects, mom will try this course of therapy. If not, she will withdraw from therapy and enter into palliative care. Either way, the oncologist estimated her maximum time left at six months, which is what he said when she was diagnosed back in August.

So here we are five months later, and mom is still fighting the fight of her life. If God permits and the oncologist is correct, we will have her for an additional six months for a total of eleven months. No matter what and in the words of the late Stuart Scott (per mom's words to me personally), "When you die, it doesn't mean you lose to cancer. You beat cancer by how you live, why you live, and the manner in which you live."

My mom was the first friend I ever had and continues to be one of my best friends today. It pains me to see her suffer this way, especially being a nurse and knowing there's nothing I can do to heal her. I thank each of you for all of your kind words, support, and help that you've provided to my family and ask that you continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers. She has always been and continues to be a fine Christian woman, and puts God, Jesus, and her family first. I know that our time here on earth is tiny compared to our eternal reward in Heaven and I know that she will not suffer here for much longer. But I'm asking that you help me/my family help her to live her remaining days with us to the fullest.

I love you all and God bless,
Perry
