Dave Burke Memorial Fund

Our friend and colleague David Burke passed away  unexpectedly in his sleep on Wednesday the 3rd of January 2018.  Dave was a loving husband to Siobhan and a great father to his two daughters Cecilia and Josephine.  Dave always put his family first and cared about their well being and happiness above all else.   As a co-worker Dave was always helpful and supportive to everyone around him.  He was a truly skilled engineer.  As a colleague he was a powerful force in many of our lives.  Dave was always there to help and always gave those around him more support than we could ever hope to repay.  Dave had high moral courage and always knew how to do the right thing. As a friend Dave was always a few steps ahead of me in life, I felt.  He was a role model of the type of person I wanted to be and always helped me as a mentor.  For that I'm eternally grateful to him.  His passing has left me at a real loss.  I'm sure you have similar sentiments about Dave.  He was a great man.  A real man. Dave was taken too soon and our thoughts turn to his wife, Siobhan and his two girls, Cecilia and Josephine.   This page was started as a way for us all to contribute to his family and show our support and love during this tragic time.  The money will go to Dave's beloved daughters, in hopes we can add just a little bit to their financial security and to one day let them know how many lives their father touched. I think we all want to be able  help in some small way  and helping to take care of Dave's family is our way of honoring such a great man.  Won't you join me , his friends, and loved ones in reaching out a helping hand in this time of need?
