Danny's Road to Australia
Donation protected
I have been honored, with 11 other athletes that make up the 2018 USA youth national team, and we will all compete in the ILS Lifesaving World Championships 2018 this November.
But in order for this dream to come true, I need the help from everybody: friends, family and the rest of the community. Your donation will support the expense of travel, accommodation, hotel, rentals, transportation, and most importantly: FOOD.
By going to the ILS Lifesaving World Championships, I will expand my knowledge for the sport and rescue. Since we have the ocean at our backyards and the beach is a popular attraction; I will show the importance of Lifesaving and how it comes into play every day in our lives. Not only at the beach or the pool, but also how I can transmit all this information to future generations. As I expand my experience of the sport, I can demonstrate all of the precautions needed for the sport and how one can prevent injury or drowning. and Promote a safe practice when in the water.
I would not be here today without the help of some important people in my life.
Coach Romi, from my ocean swim ocean group
The SRT program of LACO lifeguards, instructors: Larry, Tiana, and Danny;
Coach Ali, and Kurt Fry from South Bay United Water-polo Club
Kathy Gore from South Bay Swim Team
High School coaches: Riley Brady, Tyler Contarsy, and Steve Contarsy (who always helped me and keep helping me become a better athlete and person); and the youth national team coaches who still push me to my limit: Casey, Gus, Kelsey, Shane…
Thank you for all of your help, and all of the lessons that you taught me throughout this journey. And thank you, to all of the athletes that I have competed against, that still are rivals to me but some of my best friends.
