Daniel Townsend Memorial Fund
Donation protected
My 17 year old brother Daniel was in a tragic dirtbike accident on Wednesday, August 22, 2012. He was taken by the EMT team on-hand to the Emergency room but because of the severity of his injuries, he was put on a Life Flight to Sunrise Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Once in the trauma center, and after many tests and scans, the doctors determined there was no blood flow to his brain. His mother, a kidney donor, and family decided to donate his organs so that Daniel can keep helping others like he has always done.
Daniel has always been active. At 3 years old, he was on a dirt bike with training wheels because he saw Travis Pastrana doing it in "Crusty Demons" videos. He watched that video until it broke. He played flag football, baseball, basketball, BMX and loved water sports. He recently had been jet-skiing every day of the summer that he wasn't working. Daniel had the biggest, most contagious smile. He was a truly amazing son, brother and friend.
Our family was not fortunate enough to have medical insurance and his medical and memorial service bills will be extensive. Any donation is appreciated.
Daniel, your smile, kindness and laughter will be carried with us every day and will never be forgotten. We love you and miss you terribly.
