Daniel Spengler's Memorial Fund

Hello my name is Dawn Mitchell and I started this Gofundme to help my best friend, Lauray and her husband, Dan.

Dan fell ill about a week and a half ago. He just didnt feel well and couldn't get comfortable. As most men are, Dan is stubborn and refused to take his illness as seriously as he should have. His wife, Lauray, finally put her foot down and took him to the ER after he was struggling to breathe.

You see, Dan is the only bread winner in their home. He makes sure there is money in their account, their bills never go unpaid, no one ever leaves his home hungry; he cares for everyone, and he always makes sure his wife is taken care of. But now Dan is unable to do those things.

Once Dan entered the hospital he was admitted and diagnosed with Covid-19. Within 3 days, Dan was put into a medically induced coma, placed on a ventilator, and transfered to a facility better equipped to help Dan fight for his life and that is what he is doing as I write this.

Lauray is, as you can imagine, heartbroken and scared to death for the life of her husband. Right now is not the time for her to worry about anything else, so I am here, as their friend begging you to help these two wonderful and loving people out.

Even though he does have insurance the medical bills are already astronomical. Not to mention that life and the bills never stop coming no matter what kind of hell you are going through. The added expense of Lauray having to drive over an hour, one way, just to be with Dan since he has been transfered is helping to empty their funds. Especially since they now have no income.

Dan, with God's grace, will be mad at me for asking for you all to help them but he will also be so very humbled at all of the love, the support, and prayers everyone is showing him.

So again I beg of you to help these two wonderful people to get through this major bump in the road of life. I'm not asking for hundreds of dollars, even $5 adds up. But if you are unable to donate please pray for Dan and Lauray, they need help from us as fellow humans and from our lord. Also if you could share this to get it in front of as many people who could help as possible.
