Dance Parade Float for Frankie Manning

Please help us make an impact at this year's Dance Parade New York May 17.
We are gathering Swing Dancers from all over the world with registrants from at least eleven countries and you can join us too.
Swing dancing is best whan accompanied by live music, something only made possible with the use of a float. It also allows our dancers to really show their stuff.
Dance Parade is the largest parade of its kind and is seen by a live audience of more than 70,000 people and is live webcast to countless others.Find out more about Dance Parade New York here: http://danceparade.org/wp/
This year is important because it would have been the 100th birthday of Frankie Manning, who helped make Lindy hop what it is and changed Swing dancing forever. His dancing and choreography was seen on stages and in film, and he was one of the most influential dancers of the swing era. While he travelled all over the world teaching dance until the very end of his life, changing uncountable lives for the better, Frankie Manning's name is still largely unknown outside the Swing community. We would like to change this.
