Memorial Fund for Dan Halverson

Hello family and friends.  My daughters and their brother are having to make very difficult decisions for their father who is now receiving comfort care in the hospital.  Although he has had Congestive Heart Failure for some time and has been in and out of the hospital many times through the last few years they were not expecting this at this time.  His wishes were also not clearly written anywhere so this has been even more challening and heartbreaking for them.  Fortunately he was able to give some direction verbally yesterday to guide them to comfort care.  This is obviously a very difficult time for them and they have all been at his bedside for two days now.  I am asking today for funds to help pay for the expenses of the funeral and burial costs to help ease the burden on his children. Dan's first love has always been fishing.  If your his 'buddy' you have probably been fishing with him.  He never married but does have 4 great kids, Danielle Halverson 27, Alexandra Halverson 25, Tyler Halverson 24 and Jake Halverson 26. He spent most of his working life doing stucco on homes and met many friends through this work.  He also loves to get together with friends and play cards and was the luckiest person I know when it came to pulling those pull tabs!  He lost his sister that he was very close to when he was a teenager and then his mother several years ago.  We know they are both waiting for him on the other side along with several other family and friends.
