Backpack Outreach

First and foremost, thank you for support; we are grateful and honored for the the opportunity to be able to put this message in front of you and to be able to step in and help those in need. Dream Vision Charity is a non-profit organization based in Seattle, WA that started as a group of friends and is quickly growing. Our goal is to improve life skills and provide financial and material support for those who need it through volunteering and other efforts. 

As you all are probably aware, in mid-August, Kerala suffered its worst natural disaster (incessant floods) in 100 years. More than 375 people have died, around 1,000,000 people from 300,000 families are living in 3000 relief camps, and destruction to property and infrastructure is on an unprecedented scale.

Dream Vision Charity's first project is to send 500 backpacks to help the kids getting ready to go back to school in Kerala. Currently, many of these children have never even seen a backpack or have lost absolutely everything, even one bag can make a huge difference in their life. 

Backpack Outreach:
Each stuffed backpack costs $10.  We are aiming to donate 500 backpacks stuffed with supplies including:

-Notebooks
-Pens
-Pencils
-Water bottles
-Lunch boxes
-Umbrellas
-Erasers
-Pencil sharpeners
-Pencil pouches
-Colored pencils
-Rulers
