Dancing Like the Stars 2015

Tax deductible

The Paramount Theatre’s 7th Annual Dancing Like The Stars (DLTS) Benefit will see its largest field of local celebrities vying for two mirror ball trophies. This year, 15 participants will compete in the Saturday, January 31, 2015 event that in the last six years has raised over $225,000 for the continued restoration and operation of the historic downtown Anderson landmark, the Paramount Theatre.

Local celebrities paired with professional instructors fundraise for votes and rehearse a two-minute routine in the upcoming months in preparation for the January event. They will compete for the “judges choice” trophy, which is awarded to the couple that performs the best executed routine technically and a “people’s choice” trophy, which is awarded to the couple that raises the most money.

All local celebrity dancers are required to raise at least $1000 in votes, but the dancing couple that raises the most money takes home the coveted mirror ball trophy.

VOTE NOW for your favorite celebrity by clicking on their mirror ball below. Or write a note of encouragement  in the comments. Donations are tax-deductible and every $1 donated = 1 vote.
