Can’t believe im actually writing this…

I’ve only gone and had my place accepted to run the LONDON MARATHON 2025.

Of course with #TeamStrokeAssociation and of course in honour of the most incredible man.

Any donation you can give to help me reach my target will be amazing.

With that in mind, we’re reaching out to invite you to join the Rolls family on what we hope to be a great day of Golf for our well-respected Derek J Rolls.

For a bit of background as to why we’re setting this up…

On the 23rd February 2024, Derek James Rolls, the man that showed the upmost kindness and generosity and hugely respected estate agent of Moordown, chose his time to leave us.

He never once doubted that he would deal with the vile cancer that had invaded his body for the second time but unfortunately, a stroke on the 15th February (and subsequent strokes while in hospital) had other ideas.

With that in mind, myself & my brother Jamie are aiming to raise as much money as possible in aid of Stroke Association and support the lives of stroke survivors.

Stroke Association's specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community.

Now being a part of that community, we have set up the ‘Derek J Rolls Charity Golf Day’ to try our best to honour a wonderful man who had an incredible swing & maybe a couple of holes in ones in his life.

Tickets are £50 per person.

The day comprises of 18 holes of golf with competitions and a raffle followed by a dinner, prize giving and a charity auction.

It will be held at Queens Park Golf Club (where Derek used to be a member) on Thursday 12th September 2024.

When signing up enter your name alongside the amount of £50 GBP so we can keep track of the sign ups - once done please email me - (find email on our website - www.derekjrolls.co.uk) so i can confirm receipt.

PLEASE NOTE:

All sign ups and any donations entered on here OR made on the day will go towards my target of £5000 to run the London Marathon in April 2025! (application sent & awaiting response - fingers crossed!)
