Dare to Defy Productions is a story of defying expectations!
- Defying the idea that professional entertainment in Dayton must include non-Dayton talent to be high quality
- Defying the idea that dreams can only be realized by leaving our community
- Defying the idea that we cannot provide more paid opportunities to the artists we help develop in our own community
- Defying the idea that a new non-profit cannot thrive or make an impact because it does not fit a certain mold.
No non-profit arts organization can thrive without the support of the community. Our needs are small and our impact is great! Since our inception 3 short years ago, Dare to Defy has created hundreds of paid opportunities for all manner of theatre artists, both on-stage and off. We have performed high qualty productions at wonderful venues in our community and have had a significant economic impact in Dayton.
We ask you to join us in continuing that impact in our 2017-2018 season. By contributing to Dare to Defy, you have the unique opportunity to know that 100% of your suport goes to the mission of the organization and that mission is soley focused on our community. You are supporting your talented neighbors! Every show in our season is performed at a Victoria Theatre Association venue, so that organization also benefits from your support to us.
