World Paraclimbing Championships
Donation protected
Back on June 23rd I traveled to Columbus, OH for the US Adaptive Climbing Nationals. Entering my first climbing competition, I really had no expectations going into the event. After the event was all set and done, I finished 2nd in my category and earned myself a spot on the USA Adaptive Climbing Team! Being on the team means that I get the opportunity to compete in Austria in September at the IFSC (International Federation of Sport Climbing) Paraclimbing World Championships.
The catch is that since adaptive climbing is a fairly new sport, the national governing body doesn't not have the funds to fly the team to Austria. I've been trying to do as much on my own to cover my expenses but I am still a short of my goal and I fly out on September 8th for my competition.
If you can't donate, it would be appreciated if you could pass this along to someone that may be able to.
Thank you for your time and consideration,
Carlos Quiles
