First of all, let me say how much we miss all of you! We miss your familiar faces and our long chats about books and life. We miss finding you the perfect book and helping young readers find the next great book when they are sad to have finished a series.
In 2012, our partnership with Cheap Kiss Records brought an ever-growing selection of used records to our store, and it has been our pleasure to welcome record enthusiasts into our bookstore family.
We hope you are all staying safe and finding comfort in rereading your favorite books.
But we at Cornerstone Books need your help. Over 80% of our store sales come from customers that come in, browse, chat, and make a purchase. Since March 11th we have been closed. Although we opened for curbside pickup on Tuesday, May 5th, we do not expect sales to be enough to sustain us during these very trying times. (Check out our website at www.cornerstoneusedbooks.com for further information about curbside pickup and local delivery.)
We are asking that you partner with us to keep the store open for you and all of the people in the area that look to Cornerstone Books as the place to go for their book needs.' Your donations will help us cover our rent, utilities, and retain employees during this time of uncertainty.
We are grateful for any amount you can donate. If you can’t donate at this time, we understand and would appreciate you sharing our request on social media, calling and purchasing gift cards, or sharing a word of encouragement.
