Corey Can

With deepest sympathy to his family and everyone who held him dear, Corey Hamilton, a very precious and brave wee boy touched the lives and hearts of many people all over Scotland in the last few months as he battled a cruel childhood cancer. On Friday morning he sadly lost his fight and passed away in his sleep, leaving a community heartbroken but comforted in the knowledge that he is beyond the reach of a truly awful disease. His family have shown a tremendous courage and dignity throughout his illness, fundraising and campaigning for treatment for childhood cancers like Coreys. Over 25k has been raised and Stephen, Angela and Declyn are determined to ensure that Corey Can goes on to leave a legacy that shines as brightly as Corey Hamilton did in the 9 years he blessed us with his smiles and personality
