ConnectiCOUCH 2018!

Connecticut's first Couchcrash in 2016 was such a success we're gonna do it again! A bunch of passionate Couchsurfers (www.Couchsurfing.com ) in Connecticut want to showcase all that Connecticut has to offer to travelers (surfers) from across the country and this wonderful world of ours.
We have all surfed on 'couches' or hosted surfers through the Couchsurfing website and have learned what a small world it is and how generous, outgoing, loving and sharing all people are in every corner of the earth.



We have been to Couchcrashes in other places and in 2016 we organized ConnectiCOUCH 2016. From Aug 11th-Aug 14th in 2016 we hosted and entertained over 150 Couchsurfers from all over the world. We received rave reviews and eventhough planning it drove us all crazy we want to do it all over again this year! 



What's a Couchcrash? It's when a community welcomes others from around the world to come experience their area and Couchsurfers open their homes to travelers and show them all the area has to offer. Friendships are made, culture is exchanged and most of all FUN is had.

We need your help to do this. While ConnectiCOUCH 2018 will happen either way, we realize that some surfers are on a budget and if we can assist by providing some funds it would be a big help.

WHAT WILL YOUR DONATION FUND?:
- help to subsidize museum admissions
- snacks/water for during events/travel
-rental of porta pottie
- gas for local drivers, as some will be doing alot to take attendees to various locations
- prizes
- printing of stickers

The CT surfing community is not the largest out there so having your help to support us in this exciting event would mean so much to us. We would love it if you came and experienced it as well. We can take cash or check donations at our monthly meetups and post your donation offline.
