Coming Together for Camden

Donation protected
Hi Everyone,
We are the Havens family and are doing this on behalf of Mike and Heather Schuster-for their sweet son, Camden.  Asking for money or favors is not something we are very familiar with and neither is the family we are trying to help out here. However, when it’s for this amazing young man and family going through this hardship...we can’t help but try.
The Schuster's could really use your help! Camden has a very RARE condition called Idiopathic Condylar Resorption (I will explain more in detail below) and has no other choice but to undergo this long and painful surgery and recovery.  With countless hours of research and trying to find even a single doctor (there are only 2 in the U.S. willing to take on this specific surgery) they have finally found what they need for Camden!!
Due to how rare this surgery is, Mike and Heather are finding out only a very small portion is covered by their health insurance.  Mike and Heather have figured at least $100,000 will be out of pocket.  Clearly this is a huge stress on them, but obviously the bigger concern is the health of Camden.  They have no choice but to go through with this surgery and are working soo hard to come up with the funds, which is how I originally found out about this unfortunate situation.
I simply asked Heather why they were working so hard, at all hours of the night, early mornings, and yet still maintaining their regular job hours!?  Also, keep in mind they are fully actively participating in helping out their 5 kids activities in and out of school.  So we figured with a little help and encouragement from family and friends, we could hopefully give Camden the chance at this surgery he needs and hope for a better life and future.
Camden has JIA  (Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis) and as a result he also is struggling with ICR (Idiopathic Condylar Resorption).  This has caused both of his jaw joints (TMJ) to break down so severely that instead of his lower jaw functioning on his jaw joints, it has now attached and is functioning on the lower part of his scull.  His case is so extreme that his jaw joints have completely resorbed and has caused his airway to constrict from the average 11 millimeters down to 3 millimeters.  Because his deterioration has progressed so rapidly and severely, he is in immediate need for this surgery.  Less than 1% of the population has ICR and of those cases only 10% are males.
If Camden does not have this surgery done, his airway will continue to constrict which will make it very difficult for him to even breath.  He will have trouble with his jaw locking on him as well as severe jaw pain and eventually his lower lip will come to a position where he is unable to close his mouth completely or even smile.

So please share this and help us meet this goal for Camden and THANK YOU!  It's truly amazing the feeling that overcomes you when you give and help! So let's shock the Schuster's and meet this goal.
