What you need to know about our project:
We are Shreya from Bangalore, India and Pauline from Kleinmachnow (near Berlin), Germany. Two internet friends who got to know each other online on Instagram through our shared enthusiasm for the British band "Coldplay". With your help we can realize our dream which is meeting each other in person!
That's us, Pauline (on the left) and Shreya (on the right) :
 Now we have been friends for more than two years, we Skype together regularly and send each other packages; for Christmas or birthdays.
Here you can see an advent calendar for Shreya (left) and a notebook for Pauline (right):
 And now we want to go one step further and meet in person in London.
Why London? Quite simply, London is the city where Coldplay was "founded" and still has its studio today and other important places for their history. On top of this: Shreya has never been to London. Therefore, there is no better place for our meeting :)

For what do we need your donations exactly?
If we are able to raise 1700€, we will book our trip so that we can meet in person. For this we need:
- a flight to London and return flight for both of us (approximately 1100€)
- a hostel for 1 week London (approximately 600€)
- Shreya´s visitor´s visa for one week in London (approximately 100€), which is already sponsored by the Berlin radio station "Kiss FM". HUGE thanks from the both of us for that!!!
In the unlikely event that we get more money from you than we actually need, we will donate it to the organization "Global Citizen". This organization fights against extreme poverty all over the world and even everyone can join them via their website https://www.globalcitizen.org/en/
For the case that we cannot reach our funding goal we will refund the money back to you, our kind donators.

Warum London? London ist die Stadt in der Coldplay "gegründet" wurde und bis heute ihr Studio hat. Außerdem war Shreya noch nie in London. Deswegen, ist das der ideale Ort für unser Treffen :)

Was passiert mit dem Geld bei erfolgreicher Finanzierung?
Sollten wir es wirklich schaffen 1700€ zu sammeln, werden wir unsere Reise buchen, damit wir uns persönlich treffen können. Dafür benötigen wir:
- Hinflug nach London sowie Rückflug für uns beide (ca. 1100€)
- ein Hostel für 1 Woche London (ca. 600€)
- ein Visum für Shreya (ca. 100€), welches bereits von dem Berliner Radiosender "Kiss FM" spendiert wurde. Ein ganz, ganz großes Dankeschön von uns beiden dafür!!!
Falls der unglaubliche Fall eintreten sollte, dass wir mehr Geld von euch bekommen als wir tatsächlich benötigen, werden wir dieses an die Organisation "Global Citizen" spenden.
