Dear C-L-K Community Member,
The 2014-1015 Hockey season will mark the end of Coach Jim "Crow" Crawford's long and illustrious career as the head coach of the Calumet Copper Kings.
Coach Crawford began coaching the team during the 1984-1985 season and since then has become known throughout the Midwest for his accomplishments, and the players he has developed. Some of his accomplishments include 6 state championships, 3 state runner- up titles, 15 regional championships, 12 conference championships, 10 MacIness championships and 19 Copper Isle Classic Cups.
To celebrate Coach Crawford, his service to our community and the joy and pride he has brought to us, an open house will be held in his honor on March 21st, from 2 to 5 at the Calumet Colosseum Ballroom.
This is where you come in. We are looking for monetary donations. The funds will be used to purchase a gift of appreciation for Coach Crawford.
Please feel free to contact The Crow's Nest Committee with any questions. Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.
Sincerely yours,
Fran Beiring, Kathy Beiring, Bruce Coppo Sr., Roger Rintala, Sandra Rintala and Gail Voldarski
