Kill Cancer

Anyone who has ever lost a loved one to cancer or has survived it knows how brutal an experience it can be. One filled with fear, anxiety, uncertainty, hope, love - and pain. After the experience, somehow, someway, we have to move forward. Cancer has tortured many of our loved ones. Let us, together, work towards killing it. Kill it so that it causes no more pain, no more fear and no more suffering. Of course, this will take time. Nevertheless, let us further that process - today. We are a team of 3 men Tommy, Joe and Jay. We have been close friends for over 40 years.  We lost a dear friend Bobby earlier this year to cancer. His was a particularly painful death. We hope to climb Mt. Washington in New Hampshire on the weekend of February 17-19, 2018 (Washington's Birthday) to raise money for an excellent, highly regarded pediatric cancer entity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .  Mt. Washington is known for its extremely cold temperatures and often very high winds. Since this is a winter ascent, it will be extremely challenging.  The average age of the climbers is 64 and this is about the old helping the young. We invite you to join us by helping the children with your donations.

100% of the net proceeds from this page are being donated. All of the expedition  trip costs are already personally funded by Tommy, Joe and Jay.

Each year, nearly 100,000 children under 15 die from cancer worldwide. The average age for diagnosis of pediatric cancer is 6. The majority of funding for pediatric research and care comes from private donors.  That means you.
