Elevate New York www.elevatenewyork.org helps students in the South Bronx with a wrap around mentoring program and classroom curriculum based on 13 vital character qualities and life skills. $2000 is all that it takes to cover the cost of a student. Over the past 8 years, students who have gone through Elevate New York have a 97% graduation rate vs a little over 50% for students in the South Bronx. In order to serve more students in need, we need your help to raise money that will go towards hiring more staff to fulfill the Elevate mission.
My wife, Meg, and I are going to attempt to climb the equivalent of Mt. Everest, 29,029 feet October 13-15th. 17 summits of Stratton Mountain in Vermont is what it will take. We are looking to raise $29,029 or more to cover the registration and to donate all proceeds to Elevate New York. Check out the Everesting challenge here.
