Thank you for donating to the Clay's Heart Senior Pets Foundation (CHSPF). By doing so, you improve the lives of senior animals and the people who care for them. Clay's Heart Senior Pets Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization and your contributions—large and small—are tax deductible. Our goal for 4th quarter 2018 is $5000.00
Older pets have special health care needs that require more attention and care as they age. Arthritis, hypertension, diabetes, visual and dental issues are just a few of the challenges senior pets experience as they age that warrant more frequent visits to the veterinarian.
When I learned that a substantial number of pets in shelters were senior pets whose owners are unable to afford the additional cost associated with senior pets, it broke my heart. I thought how horrible that experience must be for the owners and their pets at a time when they need their humans the most.
CHSPF was created to help owners of senior pets in need, defray the additional cost for care, so that their pets can live out the rest of their lives at home with the family they love.
Your generous support helps provide expert medical care, rehabilitation and medication to hundreds of animals and their owners in the Washington DC Metro area enabling them to live out their lives in relative comfort.
Our future goal is to become a national organization to provide funds throughout the country. We encourage you to donate AND to consider rescuing and adopting a senior pet, you won't regret it.
