Hurricane Harvey Help,

Every day I get emotional, and I have even cried on a few occasions during this event, but none of those tears were because of loss.  They were tears of pride, joy, and patriotism.  Our nation has been so divided over the last year or two, so when I look around my neighborhood and see people come together I just get goose bumps.  Blacks, Whites, Muslims, Jews, Gays.... every creed and color helping each other.  Forgetting if only for a week what the media has been pushing down our throats for ratings.  Lets enjoy this time.  Lets keep this love for ALL man kind present.  Lets keep this sense of community at the forefront.  This is our life, and we get to pick how we want to live it.

I don't want to talk about how bad Harvey has been because I think everyone knows already, and it's heart-wrenching.  What I want to talk about today is how blown away we've been by the number of people who have reached out both to check on our safety and also to offer us help.  We as humans have the overwhelming urge to help when we see our neighbors in pain or suffering.  For some of us who live in Houston, we have had the opportunity to go out and help, or help using social media as a rescue platform, or donate water and diapers, but for those of you who do not, you have not had that opportunity.  So here is what we need...

We have several people employed with us that have been impacted by the floods, and they do not have the financial means to "get back on their feet" so to speak.
The homes of some of our staff members actually took in water, so they have lost sooooo much.  None had flood insurance = ( Hence, the reason for this GoFundMe.

We at Classy Art have already extended a "Harvey Bonus" of $1,000 to each and every employee in the company to help them through this difficult time whether they were flooded or not.  Unfortunately, for a few that is like a drop of water in an ocean, and we are reaching out to you to help.  If you are associated with Classy Art in any way whether you're a sales rep, a vendor, a customer, a neighbor, or just a friend you probably speak with one of these ladies on a daily basis.  For privacy purposes, I will keep her identity private. However, this person always puts everyone else before herself.  Now it's time for us to step up and help her and the other staff members that were hit so hard by this catastrophe.   Though we cannot offer a tax deduction because we are not a non-profit, please know that this is going straight to the hands of those in need.  Every single dollar raised(100%) will be given to the staff members mentioned above in addition to what we have already contributed.  Please please please help if you can.  Anything helps.
