As most of you know Devin and Devon (The Doubles), are 13 year old 8th graders at University of Chicago Charter School Carter G. Woodson campus. They have been invited to participate in an extremely special opportunity that will take them to China spring of 2014. They will travel to China with some of their 8th grade classmates for and educational excursion/summit. It's going to be a whirlwind tour!
The curriculum that has been set up on this trip will teach them about the history, culture, and the people of the region.This journey will take them to the Great Wall of China, take a tour of the Forbidden City, view the Terracotta Army and a Kung Fu show. After all, there is no better way to learn about culture than to experience it firsthand. With your help you they can gain the independence only travel can bring.
Needless to say, they are very excited! Help me to make this Awesome opportunity become a reality for the boys.With each donation received we will bring back a thank you token from our tour of China...
