Chase's Courage Campaign

Donation protected
Chase McCarroll is currently battling stage 4 Hodgkins lymphoma.

Chase and his wife Nacole, have a 1&1/2 year old little boy Aiden as well as an older son James. They just moved back to Chase's hometown of Elizabethtown, NY after relocating from Texas. With that being said, Chase was the only one working at the time he was diagnosed and had not been at his job long enough to have adequate insurance coverage.

This fund has been started to help Chase and his family to pay for uncovered medical expenses. His blood thinners alone will cost him over $3,000 out of pocket. I'm sure there will be other unexpected expenses along the way as well as travel expenses to get to and from the hospital for bi-weekly chemo treatments in Albany. Please help us to help the most selfless, humble, kind, huge-hearted, caring and loving person we know!!!

No donation amount is too small. Every little bit helps to ease some of the financial burden Chase and his family face. Please ONLY donate if you have something to donate. Anyone who knows Chase, knows that he would never want you to go without because of him. Your prayers, love and support are all he REALLY wants!

Keep reading for Chase's story...

On January 5th of this year, Chase was told that he had a tumor in his lower back and that doctors were sending him to Albany Medical Center. This was after months of back pain that Chase thought was just an injury and toughing out. When he couldn't take the pain any longer, he ended up in the ER. It was not long before scans/x-rays showed a tumor and things started moving very quickly. January 10th he received his first chemo treatment. The extreme pain was "somewhat" managed and he was sent home on January 14th. It wasn't long before he was back in the hospital in Albany. He has since only had two additional chemo treatments due to some set backs along the way. Pneumonia, extreme back and leg pain, numbness, loss of bladder function, high heart rate, low oxygen rate, and a staph infection which resulted in taking out his port after only a week of being placed and a back surgery to remove the infection along with a partial peice of vertebrae. Chase is still in the hospital and plugging along each day. Some days are much better than others. After weeks of being immobile and fully dependent on others, he has started walking!!! Hopefully, without any further setbacks he will have another chemo treatment this tuesday and be able to go home and see his little boy. It's been weeks and well overdue!
