Cathy Christine Habeeb-Sheehan, 44, of Boxford, formerly of Merrimac, died Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Cambridge with her husband Timothy P. Sheehan and family by her side. She suffered bravely a long battle with Acute Myloid Leukemia and was a patient at Dana Farber, Boston, MA.
Born in Methuen on September 15, 1969, she was the daughter of Maria "Tina" C. (Romanat) Habeeb of Andover, Robert "Bob" G. Habeeb and step mother Judi Habeeb of Salem NH. She was a graduate of Presentation of Mary Academy, Class of 1987 in Methuen and Northeastern University, Class of 1992. She was a Sales Executive for Hewlett Packard and a fitness instructor at Latitudes Sport Club in Salisbury for many years.
She treasured her time with her children, family and friends. She had a passion for living a full and healthful lifestyle.
The family is requesting that flowers be o mitted and donations in Cathy's memory be made to Friends of Cathy Sheehan, One West Main Street, Merrimac, MA 01860. All proceeds will assist local area children in their pursuit of joining sport and fitness programs.
