Carin' for Karen
Friends, family, and breast cancer-haters unite!
This past September, my mother Karen Prevatt was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. After the shock of the diagnosis wore off and she healed from her mastectomy, she faced the fear of starting chemotherapy. It has been a long and challenging road, but Karen is just about done with her 6th round of chemotherapy and has been the definition of strength and courage. It has been an emotional and eye opening experience, not to mention financially stressful.
Lets face it- medical bills SUCK. The expenses of her treatments has added up- who needs that financial stress on top of all of the other stress that comes with the battle against breast cancer? If you know my mother, you know that she is a sweet, funny, caring, and selfless person whom her family and friends love being around. Lets help her through this and fight to save the ta-tas! Every little bit helps. Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity!
Love,
Megann, Scott, Chris, hubby Bill, and Emma (Chorkie)
