Update as of June 16th 2026! He has been home and doing great for around 2 weeks. Still no income yet, he is sighed up for his disability on that severed nerve in his leg that has him using a walker to get around. But he has beeen denied 2 times. We are waiting to go before the judge for his final answer. It should be around August at the latest I’m guessing. Hopefully…

Update! We had another set back, his lungs collapsed I think may 4 & had to have chest tubes placed & they are still in as of may 8th 2026.

Update: 4-14-2026 He Got A New Heart!!!

My name is Pamela Golden. My husband, John Golden, had a massive heart attack on June 19, 2025. He died on them 3 times during surgery. He’s undergone 3 surgeries on his heart and one to get blood flow to his legs that they ended up severing his nerve in the growing of that leg. So he is relying on a wheelchair & walker everywhere he goes. He had two arteries collapse and repaired, and a empella put in his heart to help keep it beating. As of today this is the second time of him having an empella placed inside his heart. And the 3rd time of being deathly ill and in the hospital today as of March 10th 2026. His heart has stopped pumping and it’s pushing everything back into his lungs. and in heart failure. So chest tubes are in place and have been draining for a week straight as of March 17th 2026! Doctors have a plan to put a L-vad in soon which will be open heart surgery, they have to cut open and crack his chest. Since June 19th of last year he has been out of work because it has left him handicap! I am his 24/7 caregiver with no income coming in. He was denied disability, so Every donation will be a blessing to us! At this time now He’s got a long road ahead of him and so do I. We will be here in critical ICU at UK for a couple months at least! Because he has to heal around 3 weeks and then start physical therapy after that while still staying here. We do not have a vehicle and are in desperate need of one to get back and forth to his appointments & urgent emergencies that seem to be often anymore. We know the Good Lord can move and heal him & help us with our needs. Pray for him & me and the doctors that the Lord will guide their hands and mind in everything they have to do for him. Thanks!❤️
