Can this year get any worse?

I have never done anything like this before, it was recommended by a friend. This year has been horrible, in a matter of 4 months I lost my father, wife and I was in two accidents that totaled both vehicles. I have a compression fracture in my neck and my t2 thru t14 vertebrae are all either bulging or herniated. My mind wants to work but my body has other plans.
 Currently behind two months (almost three) on my mortgage. I only get about 400 biweekly which doesn't cover alot. My lawyer for my accident also does ssdi but this will be a process to get the money I am owed/deserve. I appreciate any help I can get....
