Cameron's Conquering Cancer

We are all so fortunate to call Cameron McLeod a friend. If you spend anytime near her at all, she will have you smiling and laughing at something she has said - and that is one of the best qualities a person can have. Many of us have also had the pleasure of having her teach our children. I can honestly say it has been my daughter's favorite year of school. She teaches children in a way that allows them to have fun while learning. Not an easy combination these days but one she handles perfectly with a smile on her face. While working full time, she is also raising 3 great sons all on her own. I am not sure how she gets it all done, but she does it with the best attitude of anyone I know.
Unfortunately another thing has been added to her plate recently - Cameron is now conquering breast cancer. After finding cancer in her left breast during a recent mammogram she went in for additional testing. During the tests they discovered 2 additional cancers in both breasts. The good thing is she caught it early! She has begun the fight and has had 2 surgeries/5 operations so far. She has also begun chemotherapy treatments that will continue weekly over the next few months followed by radiation. To help with the costs of the treatments I am starting this Go Fund Me account for her. Insurance will not cover all costs related to the treatments not to mention the deductible resets in January. This means she will have to pay her full deductible twice during the course of treatment. Let's show Cameron we are in this together!
