Help Children Living With Diabetes
Donation protected
Hello Everyone,
Please help me get my book edited, so I can help Children With Diabetes (CWD) and their parents with a book that will help them deal with the emotional issues that diabetes causes. The book supports parents with a 360-degree perspective of what their child goes through.
I grew up living with diabetes and was diagnosed at an early age, in 1977. At that time, there was no emotional help for me or my family. My mother and I experienced a difficult, bumpy and emotional rollercoaster that could have been avoided had the proper help been available.
Help is still very limited when it comes to emotional wellness for children with diabetes and their families. With this book, I hope to fill that gap of missing emotional support. Millions of children with diabetes and their families still suffer from the emotional strain that diabetes causes.
The Diabetic Diary provides parents with special tools, insights and education so they can more confidently and effectively communicate, understand and empathize with their child's experience with diabetes and their child's relationship with the world around them.
I have donated lots of time & money to helping people with diabetes through my writing and funding my online platform dedicated to helping people living the emotional ups and downs that come with diabetes. Unfortunately, I am unable to fully finance the second half of the editing process.
Please help me get the book edited. It will help so many parents and children!
Thank You!
