Greetings Friends,
On October 20, 2015, the Lupumba family arrived in Twin Falls and began a new chapter in their lives- putting down roots in the Magic Valley. The vibrant and affectionate family quickly of Joseph, Francois, Mary, Noel, Jolie, Nadej, Joseph Jr., Claude, Grace, Dorcas, and Samuel captured the hearts of many in the community. Although the Lupumbas have faced adversity and suffering unimaginable to those of us born in the United States, their strength of character shines bright. For these reasons, we want to honor and hold them close in our hearts in their most recent time of need.
On May 27, 2016, seventeen year old Claude Lupumba passed away unexpectedly. He was a kind and hard-working student at Canyon Ridge High School. He was very passionate about basketball and music. Claude always wore a smile and his warm and easygoing spirit left an indelible impression on all his friends and family. He will be sorely missed.
Losing a child is a profound hardship unalike any other. While we cannot undue the agony that comes in losing Claude too soon, we can come together and wrap his family in our love and support. At this time we are collecting donations to help them with the expenses of his memorial service. We ask that you give what you can. Whether it’s prayer, compassion, a monetary gift, or taking the time to share this effort with others, they are equally appreciated at this time.
