 Hi my name is Meggan Oirech and I am the owner of CHNO STORE! Did you know that skin bleaching is a 10 Billion dollar business profiting off Women of Colors insecurities? Our Goal Is To Make Women of Color Feel and know that they are beautiful by curating the best beauty and personal care products specifically for all women of color. CHNO = The molecular formula for melanin I started this company because I always felt insecure about the color of my skin and my unruly hair since I was about 5. I almost fell prey to using bleaching and lightening creams too. Although I never went far with it, I still felt insecure and ugly because of the negativity surrounding the color of my skin. I know a lot of you can relate... BUT On some random beautiful act of the universe, my IG algorithm shifted, and my feed started filling up with the most beautiful, confident Badass Black and brown women... I could not stop scrolling, and I could not stop crying.. because I realized these women looked like me, they knew they were beautiful, and it was about time I knew it too. I found my confidence and my beauty by seeing women who looked like me being confident and beautiful in who they were and what they looked at 27 years old. I do not want other girls to feel the way I did, as long as I did anymore. The second I began using products that were made for me, I have never felt more beautiful and confident with myself and my skin. CHNO has been selling everyday essential created by POC for the last year, and will now only offer beauty and personal care items for WOC, but we need your help. It is my mission to end the insecurity Black and brown women face from social structures, media and brands that perpetuate negativity around WOC, and create a brand that stands for beauty, confidence, and that celebrates WOC in all our glorious shades..... We deserve to prosper in our beauty, and it is my goal to grow this brand to positively affect women of color all over the world.
