Help Christine fight Cancer!

Donation protected
Everything was going well for Christine, a lifelong educator, and learning specialist. She dedicated the last 30 years to raising her two sons as a single parent as well as working with other children as a tutor and a teacher in many schools across the country.

In November 2017 she began complaining of stomach discomfort, and after a trip to the ER a few weeks later the doctors initially found some tumors on her ovaries. After further tests, they discovered this cancer had spread from her ovaries into the GI tract, the outer lining of her stomach, and into her esophagus. At this point, it was Stage 4.

Christine has since relocated to Minneapolis, MN to be closer to family and to recieve treatment at the Mayo Clinic in hopes of being received there as a charity case. She will begin undergoing treatment on Dec 11th 2017, first starting with a round of chemotherapy, followed by surgery.

Her family and friends were shocked with this news and are now scrambling to do everything they can to help her. Christine has no health insurance and very limited financial support of her own. She was struggling to make ends meet before this diagnosis even occured. Now, all of her limited resources have gone into covering her relocation to Minnesota, medical costs and care. All of her immediate family and two sons have banded together to try and come up with what they can, but their resources are limited as well.

Christine is a positive and cheerful individual who cherishes the simple things in life. She has always had a strong display of love for her family and all others around her, both human and animal. As she sets out on this journey she has remained the epitome of positivity and strength. Even in a constant state of pain, she stilll manages to keep her sense of optimism and responsibility.

In this unfortuante phase of Christine's life, we are reaching out for any help we can give her. We appreciate any amount you are able to donate in helping her in this battle against cancer. Please keep her in your prayers, and spread the word.

Lastly, we are beyond thankful for the time you have taken to read this campaign for our beloved friend and mother.
