Who are We?
Chinese Christian Fellowship is a non-denominational Christian fellowship at the University of Virginia. While our ministry is directed toward students of Chinese heritage, we welcome all to join us. As a fellowship, we believe maintaining and strengthening bonds with each other is an important source of spiritual growth. We have large group meetings consisting of worship, prayer and a message from invited speakers. There are also small Bible study groups that meet weekly and other fun social events planned throughout the year.
Spring Retreat
During the spring time, we have our annual retreat - a time for students to remove themselves from their busy academic schedules and focus on God. Often we become so focused on homework, exams, and grades that we forget that God has a greater plan for us. Spring retreat allows us to recenter ourselves and refocus on the truly important aspects of our lives. It is certainly a time which many of us look forward to, when many great memories and friendships are made. Being at this retreat gives the opportunity for others to walk in the path of Christ, and hear what He has to say to our hearts.
Changing Lives One at a Time
Before coming to CCF, I did not know who God was. I grew up in a non-Christian household where family, honor, and success were taught as the most important values in life, particularly success. And that is how I lived my childhood - working towards a financially and academically succesful future. As a child, I would often spend countless hours studying, reading, and practicing the piano. But at the end of the day, I would always ask myself, "What was the purpose of living like this, trying to be the best at everything"? At the time, I didn't know the answer. All I knew was that this life was lonely, empty, and incomplete.
But all of that changed when CCF adopted me as one of their own and taught me true life through Jesus. I experienced first hand what it meant to be loved, and to love others. Initially I was hesitant to accept Christ; however, my brothers and sisters at CCF supported me along every step. Today, I am forever grateful to Wright and Dori for the kindness and guidance they provided throughout my journey. Eventually, I fully accepted Christ into my life and was baptized at Trinity Presbyterian Church. My life was forever changed as now I have the ultimate reason to live - and that is for God.

As a student run organization, CCF primarily relies on the support of family, friends, and alumni. We ask for your prayers so that CCF may continue spreading the Gospel and sharing the love of Christ to the many students at the University of Virginia. We are also seeking donations to fund events like the annual spring retreat. Your support, through prayer and in any financial amount, is deeply appreciated.
