My name is Nina and I am the Foster and Adoptions Coordinator for Companion Animal Rescue Inc. (CARI).
CARI is a grassroots, in the trenches, 501C3 Not for Profit Animal Rescue Organization, we pull dogs, cats and sometimes other animals (pigs, rabbits, chickens, small animals) that are waiting for a miracle at Rural Georgia animal control facilities for rescue and rehabilitation. What sets us aside from most other rescue groups is that everyone that works with us is a volunteer. We pay no salaries and no overhead... because all of our rescues are either processing into or are already established in a volunteer foster home awaiting their adoption.

ALL of our rescues are fully vetted prior to adoption including but not limited to being: up to date on all age appropriate shots, tests, wormings and preventatives, spay/neutered heart worm negative and micro-chipped.
We take care of ALL medical needs that we are aware of prior to adoption including heart worm treatment and many other medical issues and procedures.
Our animals go through several assessments and we meet every physical, mental and medical need prior to adopting them to their forever family.
Companion Animal Rescue, Inc. (CARI) 7191 Atlanta Hwy Rutledge, Georgia 30663 is an all volunteer, non-profit Animal Rescue organization in rural Georgia. Our organization is dedicated to working endlessly to save the lives of animals in danger of euthanasia.
CARI is committed to providing temporary care for abandoned, relinquished, lost or unclaimed domestic animals until appropriate, permanent homes can be found. Although we are an all foster program, we do have an Adoption Center, Low Cost Spay/Neuter program and an Antique Market that is up and running now! All proceeds from our Marketplace go directly to the animals in our care. This facility has been donated to better the lives of animals and the people that love them but we still have lots of items to be purchased for the clinic and repairs, updates to our facility.
