Coast to Coast Cycle Challenge 2019 for RCF
We are a group of 3 guys from London raising money to fund an upcoming project by Refugee Crisis Foundation. To do this, we have decided to push ourselves to our absolute physical and mental limits...
On September 14th we will be setting off early morning on a 225km journey from the West side of Britain to the East. Starting at sunrise on the West coast of Whitehaven we will embark on a trek amounting in a 9,000 ft+ climb (that's almost 3 Ben Nevis'!!) finishing up on the East coast of Tynemouth at sunset.
We are by no means cycling pros, so there's no way round it... this is going to require a lot of training over the next month and be a hella painful day times 3000.
Your money will specifically be put towards an upcoming project by RCF at the I-12 refugee camp in Pakistan this November. A team of doctors and dentists from the UK and Pakistan will be delivering essential care to patients free of charge. As part of our welfare programme, we are also raising funds to support schools in the refugee camps too. Several schools have directly appealed to us to support them with teachers' salaries and basic resources including purchasing books. 100% of donations will go directly towards the project in funding essential medical, dental and welfare commodities.
Any sponsorship money you can donate will be immensely appreciated and will go a long way towards making our efforts count where they matter most!!
