Burnett Hurricane Harvey Relief

My name is Jessica Holt. My dear friends Edward and Amanda Burnett along with their precious daughter, Haley, were among the many affected by Hurricane Harvey. They lost their home in South Park at Cinco Ranch in Katy, Texas. They also lost both of their vehicles, all of their furniture (they have a single story home, so bringing furniture to a higher floor was not possible), and the majority of their possessions. Monday, August 28th, they were evacuated from their home. They waded through chest deep water with Haley in an inner tube and their two dogs in a baby pool with the help of three amazing area high school coaches and taken to safety at a shelter set up at an area high school. They have applied to FEMA and are awaiting assistance because they do not have flood insurance. They have not heard back on how long the process will take, or how much assistance they will receive but they are having to completely start over again. We have set this account up as a way for the countless friends and family who have asked how they can help to provide assistance to this family in their time of need. They are going to have a very long road ahead and will need all the help we can give them. Right now, the easiest way is by donating any amount you can. Every dollar helps and is greatly appreciated.
