Buddy's Vet Bills

Buddy is a puppy that came to me when someone found him on a local University campus and didn't have a place for him to sleep. He came to me with a very hurt leg and I reached out to over 400 shelters on a page with the help of a shelter owner, with no luck. Today, Buddy went to the vet and it turns out his leg is fractured in a manner that can't be fixed with a splint. He is going to receive an orthopedic surgery tomorrow at the price of $1200. That was my original goal, but seeing that I have the potential to also fundraise to pay for his post op care, I'm going to try. Post op care includes follow up X-rays, splints, and casts. His recovery is expected to take 6 weeks. If I can raise the money to cover his post op care, I could never complain again about the $200 initial appointment fee! I am absolutely 1000% determined not to fail Buddy and will try everything I can to save him and change his life! I want to see him grow up and find a family of his own!
