Mission trip to Kenya

Dear Friends and Family, and Friends of Friends and Friends of Family.
Those of you who are close to me know of the amazing transformation and work God has done and is still doing in my life these last few years. He has brought me close to Him in faith and I'm humbled by His grace daily. . The peace and joy that He has brought is incredible. I am very active in 3 ministries at Saddleback.
I was recently asked to go to Kenya on mission. I'm scheduled to leave in less than 15 days and need to raise funds ASAP. This whole effort is being undertaken in Faith. I know it's last minute but it's Gods timing not mine.
Why go?
I desire to share Gods story of recovery, healing and hope through the power of Jesus Christ in my life, and most importantly, encourage and build up those in local fulltime ministry.
We will be going to some of the Men's prisons and orphanages and will possibly be helping plant seeds for Celebrate Recovery or continue efforts already planted. We will also be assisting in relief efforts. As you can imagine, conditions in these prisons are desperate. We are called to bear witness and to minister to Widows, Orphans and those in jail scripturally. Mathew 25: 31-45
I will be on the ground there for approx 2.5 weeks. The funds are for airfare, shots, and passport expenses and some in Kenya expenses. My lodging and meals will be covered when I am there.
Please pray before you decide an amount. Any amount large or small will help.
The need is tremendous.
The timeline is urgent. No amount is too small and prayers are greatly appreciated. Any money over the goal will go directly to support much needed
supplies and efforts on the ground in Kenya.
Your help can have a tremendous impact.
