Bruce’s Battle with Cancer

This is such a heart shattering story for the most beloved couple in Anchorage. Bruce and Dawn have lived in our gorgeous city of Anchorage for 30+ years and they've made everyone they've met, family. It is our time to show them we can give back all the love they've given us. This is a very unfortunate time for us all with the news we've received. This is their story:


Recently, Bruce went to the doctor to find out he had a mass sitting on his airway. After being hospitalized for about a week at Providence,  Bruce and Dawn were advised to fly out to Seattle where Bruce is going to undergo surgery to remove the mass this upcoming Monday. After getting a second opinion, they brought to our attention that the mass is in fact cancerous. This hardship has tremendously impacted their ability to work or have any income at this time which has put them in an awful financial struggle. After the surgery to attempt to remove the cancerous mass, Bruce will no longer be able to speak again due to the removal of his voice back and shortly after recovery, has to begin chemotherapy.
